Most expansion packs released for a videogame series

As of the release of The Sims 4’s “My First Pet Stuff” pack on 13 March 2018, EA’s ground-breaking life-simulation series has had 71 expansion packs released across its main series titles. Other releases such as the game pack Jungle Adventure (27 February 2018) plus the add-ons “Toddler Stuff” (24 August 2017) and “Laundry Day Stuff” (16 January 2018) provide a wealth of new settings, themes, pets, fashion styles, objects, places to go and character traits for a game renowned for its all-encompassing perspective on (traditionally) contemporary life. Some of its more out-there additions include 2017’s gothic-tinged Vampires for The Sims 4, which introduced blood-suckers into family life.
