The largest diabetes awareness lesson consists of 1,928 participants, and was achieved by Sanofi, Gimnasio Vermont, Colegio Bilingüe Hispanoamericano ACCEP, ACE and Fundación Yo También (all Colombia) in Bogotá, Colombia, on 14 November 2025.
This large-scale educational initiative aimed to address the growing prevalence of diabetes in Colombia, where an estimated 3 million people live with the condition. With rising childhood obesity and increasing cases of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, this lesson highlighted the importance of lifestyle, nutrition, physical activity and early education. The record created national awareness and demonstrated the power of collective action in public health education.
