BAFTA videogame winners Her Story, Papers, Please and New Star Soccer were each developed by a single programmer – the smallest dev teams to scoop major awards at Britain's prestigious Academy Awards. Her Story was developed by Sam Barlow (UK) and picked up three gongs in 2016, including "Game Innovation" and "Mobile & Handheld". Papers, Please was developed by Lucas Pope (USA) and won the "Strategy & Simulation" category for 2013. New Star Soccer was developed by Simon Read (UK) and his mobile version of the game won the "Sports" category for 2012.
Her Story also holds a record for most videogame BAFTAs won by a one-man dev team.
