The largest comeback in the golf Solheim Cup, considering the scores at the start of the third and final day, is four points by the USA, who trailed 6–10 to Europe in the 2015 Championship at the Golf Club St. Leon-Rot in St. Leon-Rot, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, before winning 14½ to 13½ on 20 September 2015.
The third and final day is Singles play; the first two days are foursomes and four-ball. The USA had comeback and won three times previously when entering the final day behind on the scoreboard but by smaller margins.
They bounced back to victory from two points down in 1996 and 2002, and by one point in 2007.
The European team have never been trailing on the final day and still won the trophy.
