The most times to top the WCS (World Cup Skateboarding) World Ranking in the street discipline is five by Kelvin Hoefler (b.10 February 1994, Brazil) in 2010–14.
Hoefler was born in Guarujá in Sao Paulo and is only 21, but has taken the skating world by storm. He began skateboarding aged nine and currently lives in Los Angeles.
In October 2015, he became the first rookie to win the Super Crown Championship organized by the SLS (Street League Skateboarding).
Since 1995, the WCS has organized an annual multi-series event in different disciplines including street and vert. The best performers over the year are crowned the winner of the WCS World Rankings.
