Mickey Wright was the first golfer to win the tournament back-to-back (1960–61) and is the only person to have won the tournament four times. Both Sorenstam and Park have only won the tournament three times but all consecutively.

Sorenstam won by Playoff, three strokes and five strokes respectively; her lowest score was 271 (-13) in 2004.

Park won by playoff twice and most recently by five strokes, shooting a 273 (-19), which equalled the record for the lowest score to par in a women's major.
