The farthest throw of a mini flying disc by a male is 160.90 m (527 ft 10.6 in) set by Simon Lizotte (DEU) at the Fall Desert Wind Open in Primm, Nevada, USA, on 24 October 2014. The record was ratified by the World Flying Disc Federation.
Lizotte is a professional "disc golfer" and is sponsored by Discmania. He has previously also held the distance record for standard-sized flying disc, his best throw to date reaching 263.20 m (863 ft 6.2 in), which he threw at the same event on 25 October 2014.
The female record is a distance of 92.4 m (303 ft 1.8 in) set by Jennifer Allen (USA) on 27 March 2016. The day prior, she also set the female distance record with a standard-sized flying disc: 173.3 m (568 ft 6.8 in).
As per WFDF regulations, "mini discs" can be no larger than 4.5 in (11.43 cm) in diameter.
