The greatest distance by manual wheelchair in 12 hours is 121 km (75.19 miles) and was achieved by Haki Doku (Italy/Albania) at the Arena Civia, Milan, Italy, on 16 May 2015.

Haki is paraplegic following an accident that left him with a spinal injury. Haki was accompanied during the final lap of this record-breaking attempt by seven year old Guido Severgnini, who has cerebral palsy and uses a walking frame.
