The longest videogame marathon on Mario Kart (series) is 40 hr 00 min 00 sec, and was achieved by Ben Fick, Anthony Lehnertz and Hunter Nierman (all USA) in Iowa City, Iowa, USA, from 2 to 3 November 2018.


The attempt took place at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Hospital patients and staff were invited to drive the fourth kart throughout the attempt.
