Most followers on Instagram for a musician

Singer and actress Selena Gomez (USA) had accumulated 404.85 million followers on Instagram as of 14 July 2026, according to the analytics website Social Blade. On the same date, Kylie Minogue (381.95 million), Ariana Grande (363.36 million) and Beyoncé (299.97 million) were the other musicians ranked in the photo-focused social network’s most followed top 10.

Instagram itself (685.83 million) and footballers Cristiano Ronaldo (676.21 million) and Lionel Messi (512.51 million) were the platform’s most followed creators as of 14 July 2026. Gomez was ranked fourth.

Gomez maintained a relatively low profile in the first half of 2026, following her marriage to producer Benny Blanco and the release of their collaborative album I Said I Love You First the previous year, featuring the Grammy-nominated single “Bluest Flame”. In April 2025, Gomez was named Billboard Latin Woman of the Year.
