The opening track from Swift’s 15th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, obliterated the previous 24-hour record holder, Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” (23,701,697 streams on 24 December 2023).

“Fortnight” led a top-16 clean sweep for the standard album’s 16 tracks on Spotify’s “Daily Top Songs Global” chart on 19 April.
