Taylor Swift (USA) has shaken off the competition to crown Billboard’s Artist 100 chart for a total of 51 weeks. She first reached No.1 on 6 September 2014 and spent her most recent week at the summit on 5 November 2022 – the date she ruled the Hot 100 (“Anti-Hero”), the Billboard 200 (Midnights) and the Artist 100 simultaneously for a female-record-extending 11th time.
Swift racked up 12 consecutive weeks at the top from 8 November 2014 to 24 January 2015 – the longest unbroken run at No.1. Drake (37 weeks), The Weeknd (28), BTS (21) and Adele (20) had also amassed 20+ weeks at No.1 as of 5 November 2022.
The Artist 100 chart launched on 19 July 2014, ranking acts based on US radio airplay, sales, streams and social activity, resulting in a "multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity". Trey Songz (aka Tremaine Neverson) topped the first chart. A total of 121 different acts have spent at least one week at No.1 on the Artist 100.
