Spanish company Grupo Sicnova achieved the amazing feat of scanning all 318 residents of the small village of Torrequebradilla in the south of Spain in just one day. The company hopes to one day scan and print 3D models for every person in Spain. The company used its new Clonescan 3D machine, a seven-foot 3D colour scanner, to complete 90-second-long scans of each person, the colour 3D model of which is then uploaded to cloud-accessible storage in all popular 3D-printer file formats. Each of the scanned residents received their own miniature clone within a week of the scanning event.
