Most disliked videogame trailer on YouTube

Published on 2 May 2016, the "Official Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare Reveal Trailer" had received 3,924,525 YouTube “dislikes” as of 8 February 2021. The trailer showcased the 13th main entry to Activision's mega-selling Call of Duty videogame series and, unlike its predecessors, whisked series fans to an outer-space setting complete with zero-gravity environments. Journalists speculated that the backlash was a consequence of the series’ overwhelming success. Publisher Activision said that no other entertainment franchise on earth could generate as much passion as Call of Duty. It told Polygon: “Right now, the franchise has never been stronger”.
