Most signatures for a videogame petition

On 11 June 2014, a petition appealing for Grand Theft Auto V to be released on the PC successfully concluded with 728,144 signatures. The petition was created by Mike Julliard (Canada) and was hosted on Change.org under the header "Rockstar: Release GTA V on PC". In an open appeal to developer Rockstar Games, Mike pleaded: "It's a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform...I hope you consider the release of GTA V on PC as it'll make many people very happy!" GTA V was finally released for the PC in April 2015. As of 18 June 2015, Metacritic listed Grand Theft Auto V as the joint most critically acclaimed game on PC with a score of 96%. It shared that score with Half-Life, Half-Life 2, The Orange Box and Bioshock.
