The largest collection of pineapple-related items consists of 1,176 items, and was achieved by Lea Ziegler (Germany), in Fuerstenfeldbruck, Bavaria, Germany, on 18 August 2023.

In 2015, Lea shared with her family and friends that she loves things with a pineapple motif. Since then, she was gifted many pineapple related items which inspired her to nurture the collection herself in hopes of one day becoming a record holder. Lea lives in a small flat so it was important for her to collect items that were practical and useful. Her first item in the entire collection was a t-shirt, but if she had to choose a favourite, it would be a pineapple necklace and earrings.
