The oldest oocyte cryopreserved resulting in a successful human live birth was 14 years and 142 days old at the time of implantation and was achieved by parents Mónica Coronel and Eleuterio Aquino (both Argentina) at Halitus Instituto Médico in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 14 June 2013.

Nine months after the implantation, 39-year-old Coronel gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Yanina. Her name, which means "full of grace", was chosen to commemorate the amazing circumstances of her birth.
