The longest unbeaten home run by a manager in the Premier League is 77 games and was achieved by José Mourinho (Portugal) during two periods from 15 August 2004 to 15 September 2007 and 18 August 2013 to 19 April 2014. Mourinho achieved this run over his two spells as Chelsea manager. In his first spell he was unbeaten during 60 games in which he won 46 and drew 14 games. In his second spell he won 15 and drew two matches. His run came to an end when Sunderland, managed by Gus Poyet, came from behind to win 2–1 at Stamford Bridge.
