Longest-running Transformers convention

Originally set up by brothers Jon and Karl Hartman (both USA), the first BotCon took place in Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA, on 16 July 1994, with at least one convention taking place each year since. Since 2002, it has been officially endorsed by Transformers' creator, Hasbro. BotCon 2015 is scheduled for 18–21 June 2015, taking place in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Including BotCon events that have taken place outside the USA (and two that ran under the name "Official Transformers Collectors Convention", or "OTFCC", in 2003 and 2004), this will be the 28th event in its history.
