It was revealed on 9 January 2013 that the Viktor Rydberg secondary school in Stockholm, Sweden, had introduced compulsory Minecraft lessons to its 13-year-old students. The lessons were designed to introduce concepts of world-building, engineering, electricity grids and water-supply networks, and were delivered to some 180 pupils.
