On 21 November 2014, the Tate Modern gallery in London, UK, announced plans to build an exhibition in Minecraft. As of 2 February 2015, two paintings – The Pool of London (1906) by André Derain, and Christopher Nevinson’s Soul of the Soulless City (1920) – had been recreated in-game and were available for download from the Tate Modern’s website.
