Although it’s possible to create incredibly tall, mountainous biomes using Minecraft’s “Amplified” world generator, there’s one natural biome that dwarfs all others. The Savannah M biome (and its near relative, the Savannah Plateau M) features giant mountains and steep cliffs that jut out from the surrounding terrain, frequently passing through the cloud layer and often reaching the game’s maximum height limit. Altitudes of y=200 and above make Savannah M higher even than the mountainous terrain of the Extreme Hills biome.
