First boss mob in Minecraft

Unlike Minecraft’s normal mobs, boss mobs feature advanced attack patterns and are designed to challenge even the most skilled players. The Ender Dragon made its debut on 11 November 2011. In order to reach the dragon’s home world, players must collect 12 Ender Pearls from defeated Endermen and craft them into Eyes of Ender.
