On 28 April 2015, Minecraft speed-runner "joshgaming4" uploaded a YouTube video showing him reaching the end credits with an astonishing in-game time of 4 min 7 sec. He used a predetermined world seed and took advantage of a game glitch allowing item duplication before defeating the Ender Dragon using the classic Minecraft speed-running weapon: beds (to prevent gamers sleeping or re-spawning in the End, designers programmed beds to explode – inadvertently making them a more damaging weapon than TNT!)
