On 16 December 2014, twin sisters Tashi and Nungshi Malik (India, b. 21 June 1991) successfully climbed Vinson Massif in Antarctica, becoming the first twins to complete the Seven Summits, the highest peak on each continent, according to the Carstensz lists of summits. Tashi and Nungshi and previously climbed Kilimanjaro (Africa, 2012), Everest (Asia, 2013), Elbrus (Europe, 2013), Aconcagua (South America, 2014), Carstensz Pyramid (Australasia, 2014) and Mount McKinley (North America, 2014).
