On 11 April 2015, Dominique “Sonic Fox” McLean dominated the ESL Mortal Kombat Fatal 8 Exhibition Tournament, beating seven other fighting game pros to become the first official Mortal Kombat X tournament winner. The Fatal 8 Exhibition Tournament was launched by Xbox to promote the upcoming sequel and its incoming Pro League. The complete results are as follows:
