Most birdies in a golf US Masters tournament

The most birdies recorded by a golfer during a single Masters tournament is 28 and was achieved by Jordan Spieth (USA) at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, USA, on 9–12 April 2015. The previous record was 25 birdies set by Phil Mickelson in 2001. The record for the most birdies in a single round is 11 set by Anthony Kim in 2009. Spieth holed nine birdies in the first round, six on the second, seven on the third and six on the final round. He also equalled Tiger Woods' record for the lowest overall score at the Masters (270).
