Of particular note was the coveted award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series, given to David Fincher (USA) for his work on the pilot episode for the first season. The show also won two "creative arts" Emmys, for Outstanding Casting and Outstanding Cinematography.
The pilot episode is sometimes referred to as "Episode 1" or "Chapter 1". Netflix simultaneously streamed all 13 episodes of the first season on 1 February 2013.
