As part of the European launch of Skylanders: Trap Team (Toys for Bob, 2014) on 10 October 2014, publisher Activision hired a group of skydivers, dubbed the "Skytrappers", to play the game in freefall at an altitude of 12,500 ft (3,810 m). The "Skytrappers" happily obliged, and really put the "sky" into Skylanders. The SkyTrappers travelled at 122 mph while in freefall – about five times faster than Usain Bolt's fastest speed – and even managed to trap a villain while playing!
In Skylanders: Trap Team, one of the aims of the game is to trap villains and coerce them into fighting for the forces of good.
