With the bountiful tools Minecraft offers for creating resource-shifting minecart tracks, it’s no surprise that dizzying, world-spanning roller-coasters have proven to be some of the most popular builds in the game. Some enterprising players, however, have taken the art of roller-coaster building to the extreme. As of 24 March 2015, the longest roller-coaster to be built in Minecraft comes courtesy of Planet Minecraft user "Gaermine". This sweeping, death-defying monstrosity is packed with sharp twists and hair-raising drops as it thunders above the clouds, clatters through medieval castles and around gleaming cities. It’s so big, in fact, that the whole journey, from end to end, takes a whopping 50+ minutes.
