The highest margin of victory in the World Club Challenge match is 39 and was achieved by South Sydney Rabbitohs who won 39–0 against St Helens at Langtree Park, St Helens, England, UK, on 22 February 2015.
The previous record was 38 points with St Helens on the receiving end of both of those routs – firstly a 44-6 defeat to Melbourne Storm in 2000 and secondly a 38-0 defeat in 2003 to Sydney Roosters. The latter was the first time a team had failed to score in the World Club Challenge which pits the Super League champions from England against the NRL champions from Australia.
