At the Games14 convention held in Dubai, UAE, on 11–13 September 2014, Italian company Gatti Luxury Lab unveiled an Xbox console encased in more than 220 g (7.7 oz) of 9-karat gold. The blinged-up box was priced at £8,448 ($13,699), making it the most expensive Xbox One console.
A gold PS4 for the same price was also unveiled by the firm.
Harrods in London, UK, put the console into a 24-karat gold case and sold it for $9,779 (£5,999)
