Originally announced at BlizzCon in 2006, Warcraft is a live-action film based on the popular game series, directed by Duncan Jones and starring Travis Fimmel and Paula Patton. Principal photography was completed on 23 May 2014, and following a lengthy post-production period for digital effects the film is now expected to be released in June 2016 - three months later than its original anticipated release date of May 2016, as reported in the news on 23 April 2015. Set in the land of Azeroth, Warcraft features Ben Foster as legendary prophet Medivh.
