Online statistics database NationMaster.com has compared data on the typical number of radio receivers owned by members of the general public from different countries around the world. It found that the USA has the most – coming in with an average of 2.11 receivers per member of the population. The survey also found Lebanon to own the most radio receivers of any Muslim country, with 0.785 per capita. Finland was the winner out of all the countries in Europe, with 1.5 per capita. And Switzerland had more receivers than any other landlocked country – with on average 1 per capita. The overall lowest number recorded was for Azerbaijan, which has just 0.022 radio receivers per member of the population.
