The most pole positions by a constructor in a Formula One season is 18 and was first achieved by Red Bull Racing (Austria) in 2011. This was equalled by Mercedes (Germany) during the 2014 season and again during the 2015 season.

In the 2011 season, Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel sat on pole 15 times – an individual record – while his teammate Mark Webber did so three times.

In 2014, Mercedes' driver Nico Rosberg was on pole 11 times and his teammate Lewis Hamilton started in pole position seven times.

In 2015 it was inverted, with Hamilton sitting on pole 11 times and Rosberg seven times.
