The largest beach volleyball championships consists of 2,355 participants and was achieved by the Dutch Volleyball Federation (NeVoBo) in Scheveningen, The Hague, Netherlands, on 27 June 2015.
The Championship took place alongside the 2015 Beach Volleyball World Championship. The event was designed for amateur players to take part whilst the World Championship was being played.
