Woods is one of the most successful golfers of all time, with a joint-record 82 PGA Tour event victories and 15 major titles to his name. He has earned over $10 m in a season on three occasions: 2005, 2007 and 2009. A career-threatening back injury that saw Woods drop out of the top 1,000 in the Official World Golf Ranking in 2017, but he came back to win his first PGA event in five years, the Tour Championship, on 23 September 2018, and secured his 15th career major title on 14 April 2019 at The Masters.
