Longest golf drive on the PGA European Tour

The longest golf drive ever recorded on the European Tour is 447 yards (408.74 metres) and was achieved by Nicolas Colsaerts (Belgium) playing at the Wales Open on the Twenty-Ten course at Celtic Manor, Newport, Wales, UK, on 18 September 2014. Colsaerts broke the previous record of Indian golfer Shiv Kapur, who hit a 442-yard drive during the 3rd round of the 2012 Madeira Islands Open. Colsaerts went on to eagle the hole and finished with a 5-under -par 66 for his opening round.
