Most debutants at a single US Masters golf championships

The most debutants at a single US Masters golf championships is 24 and occurred during the 2014 US Masters held at Augusta National Golf Club, Augusta, Georgia, USA, from 10–13 April 2014. This was the 78th Masters, with the first being held in 1934; the previous record was 23 debutants in the field at the 1935 masters. The Masters is the smallest of the four golf majors and the 2014 field was made up of just 97 golfers. Despite high hopes a debutant would win the famed green jacket for the first time since Fuzzy Zoeller in 1979, it was 2012-champion Bubba Watson who won the tournament, shooting 280.

The full list of debutants is as follows: Patrick Reed, Oliver Goss, Lee Chang-woo, Jordan Niebrugge, Mike McCoy (all appearing in their first major).
