The largest game of darumasan ga koronda consists of 2,139 participants and was achieved by Thai Japanese Association School (Japan) in Bangkok, Thailand on 26 October 2024.

Japanese Association School is a Japanese international school in Bangkok, where 1st to 9th graders study. The school used to separate the sports festival into two days due to the high number of student population: 2,000. However, it was decided that the event should be held all together at once at the National Stadium from this year and the school wanted to make its first sports festival a special one by attempting this record title.
