Ruth's collection started when her daughter bought her a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Christmas present back in 1990. It had always been hers favourite children's story from the time she was a child. Since that first present, she has amassed everything from kitchen appliances to books (125 to be exact) to board games, and everything imaginable in between. Her grandchildren still enjoy wearing the princess dresses and the dwarf costumes that she has kept through the years. Some of her favourite items are a 1938 edition of the book (with illustrations from Walt Disney), a ceramic figurine of Snow White and seven dwarf figures that have 'lived' in her backyard 'for many years now.'
