Quaker Oats opened a videogame division under the name US Games in 1982. Despite a TV advertising campaign and the release of 14 games (all for the Atari 2600), none of the games were successful and the division was closed within a year. Another unlikely company that sought to cash in on the gaming boom of the early 1980s. This further underlines how everyone was attempting to get into the videogames market and how much of an oversupply there was by the time of the gaming crash of 1983.

The 14 games US Games released were:

Commando Raid

Eggomania

Entombed

Gopher

M.A.D.
