Winner of the very first GT Academy, Lucas Ordóñez was the first to step up to the podium of the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans event in 2011 for Signatech-Nissan. Alongside team-mates Soheil Ayari and Franck Mailleux, Ordóñez claimed second place in the LMP2 category, and ninth overall in the race.
