On 20 June 2007, Rapid Reality Studios announced the launch of its science fiction MMO videogame, Phylon. Players could sign up for the Bloblic Imperium, the Amphibian resistance or the Terran colonists and fight for control of the planet Anura. However, by 10 July 2007, players found that the game had been closed down and its website deleted without warning. Phylon had lasted just 20 days, making it the shortest-lived commercial MMO videogame ever.
