On 7 January 2014, Adam and Cheri Rose gave birth to a baby daughter and named her Tali'Zorah, the first documented instance of a child being named after a Mass Effect character. Bioware marked the occasion by tweeting a photo of the baby, saying "Welcome to Earth, Tali'Zorah". Father Adam explained that the name was his wife's idea. "She fell in love with the name 'Tali'Zorah' the instant we met the Quarian being hunted by Fist," he told Kotaku. "She told me back then, 'If we ever have a daughter, I'd love to name her Tali'Zorah. It just sounds so beautiful'."
