The lowest total score for the first 36 holes at the PGA Championship is 128, achieved by Brooks Koepka (USA) with rounds of 63 and 65 on 16–17 May 2019 at Bethpage Black Course on Long Island, New York, USA.


This is the lowest total score at any golf major at the halfway point. Koepka led the field by seven shots and went on to claim his fourth victory at a major. His first round of 63 equalled the course record – the second time he has done so, the only player to achieve the feat at the PGA Championships.
