The Last of Us (Naughty Dog, 2013) won five awards during the 10th British Academy Video Games Awards on 12 March 2014 – the most any action-adventure videogame has received in a single year. It won for Best Action and Adventure Game, Best Audio Achievement, Best Performer, Best Story and Best Overall Game. The following year, on 12 March 2015, it gained a further two BAFTAs for its Left Behind DLC, winning both categories for which it was nominated: Story (Druckmann) and Performer (Johnson), taking its total BAFTA count to seven. This also means The Last of Us takes the record for most BAFTA award wins for a videogame overall.

The British Academy of Film and Television (BAFTA) created the awards in 2003.
