The largest grape spitting competition involved 891 participants and was achieved by Junior Chamber International Koshu (Japan) at Katsunuma Central Park, in Koshu, Yamanashi, Japan, on 4 October 2014.
The attempt was held as part of the 61st Koshu City Katsunuma Grape Festival. Local Koshu grapes were used during the competition.
