The tallest all-office building according to the Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) is the 599.1-m (1,965-ft) Ping An Finance Center in the Futian District of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province, China. The 115-storey (plus four basement floors) concrete-and-steel office block was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and CCDI Group and was topped out on 30 April 2015. It opened in March 2017.
The tip of the Ping An Finance Center is also considered its architectural height. It's occupied to a height of 562.2 m (1,844 ft) and as of November 2017 is the second tallest building in China and Asia, and the fourth tallest in the world.
Its facade is made from 1,700 tons of 316L stainless steel, claimed by the architects to be the largest stainless steel facade system in the world.
