Most appearances on a videogame cover by a soccer player (single franchise)

As of the release of FIFA 18 in September 2017 (which features Cristiano Ronaldo), Brazil's Ronaldinho had featured on nine FIFA videogame covers – two more than England's Wayne Rooney. Such a tally represents the most covers for a single soccer videogame franchise. The full list includes FIFA Football 2004, FIFA 06, FIFA 06: Road to FIFA World Cup, FIFA 07, FIFA 08, FIFA 09, FIFA 10 (Italy cover), FIFA Street and FIFA Street 3. This excludes additional regional variations of the same year's edition in which Ronaldinho features on multiple versions.

Argentina's Lionel Messi set the record for most soccer videogame cover appearances overall, appearing on 10 game covers across both FIFA and the PES series.
